The actual concept of mindfulness is super simple. It is just awareness. Being present in each moment and accepting what is happening without trying to change it.

 

I believe that mindfulness is one of the most important tools we have for understanding ourselves and the world around us.

Being aware gives you power.

All of our actions and feelings in life are caused by our thoughts and most of us are completely unaware of how out of control our thoughts are and how much they affect everything we do.

Oh also, your brain is a liar and talks shit to you all the time.

It makes up scenarios, interprets things wrong and loses the plot quite often, triggering emotional reactions that stress you out.

But the great thing about mindfulness is the more aware you are of your thought patterns and emotional reactions, the more you get to choose how you think and respond.

You can change your brain.


YOu can Share more love, see the world with greater appreciation, deal with stress better and bounce-back from real crappy times.


Who doesn’t want that!?

The best thing about it is it’s all in your control. You are the only one who can influence your thoughts and feelings and you have the resources to do it right now.

It’s a bit of work and it takes lots of practice but trust me, it’s so worth it.
